Try these fixes in order
Check device readiness
Unlock the phone, trust the Mac if prompted, enable Developer Mode where required, and confirm Xcode supports its iOS version.
Read installation detail
In Xcode’s Devices window or run report, note whether the issue is signing, storage, existing app data, or unsupported architecture.
Compare app identity
Ensure the bundle identifier, team, and provisioning profile match the build intended for that device.
Retry safely
Free device space if necessary; do not delete an installed app with valuable local data until it is backed up.
Interpret what you see
Xcode names a signing or entitlement error
What it suggests: The app was built, but the device rejects its signature or capabilities.
Next check: Inspect the named target, profile, and entitlements before touching device data.
The device reports insufficient space
What it suggests: Installation cannot stage the app.
Next check: Free device storage and retry; preserve existing app data if it matters.
Install succeeds but launch immediately fails
What it suggests: The issue moved from installation to runtime.
Next check: Read the device crash log for a missing framework or application exception.
Why this happens
- The device is not paired or prepared for development.
- The signed app is incompatible with the device or conflicts with an installed copy.
Still not working?
If installation succeeds but launch fails, inspect the device crash or console log rather than repeating signing changes.
